Wir haben vor Kurzem für unseren neuen kleinen Hund (3 kg) diese Hundetasche gekauft. Für unseren leider bereits verstorbenen Hund waren wir bis zuletzt auf der Suche nach genau so einer Tasche – umso mehr fühlt es sich jetzt an, als hätte unsere lange Suche endlich ihr Ziel gefunden.
Wir sind vom ersten Moment an verliebt in die Tasche von Lucy and Fly. Unser Hund fühlt sich darin sichtbar sicher und geborgen und hat sie sofort als sein eigenes, tragbares Körbchen angenommen. Es ist wunderschön zu sehen, wie wohl er sich darin fühlt.
Auch für uns Menschen wurde wirklich an alles gedacht: praktische Fächer, ein stabiler Boden, ein schützendes Netz und eine integrierte Leine, die Sicherheit gibt – ohne einzuengen. Man spürt einfach, dass diese Tasche mit viel Liebe und Verständnis für Mensch und Tier entwickelt wurde.

I was searching for ages for a suitable winter jacket for my mouse where she can also run around for a while, as my larger male dog is somewhat more weather-resistant, so walks in winter of 1-2 hours are normal. And of course, I didn't want to leave her at home. After trying everything possible (various sweaters, jackets, even layered clothing), I unfortunately found no perfect solution that really keeps her dry. Until I came across Lucy&Fly in a group 😊 we went there directly and took a complete suit with us. Dear Nataly Löblein, since purchasing the first Bruno suit last year, my Willi and I have become huge fans of this unique cut for male dogs. In the meantime, we have the original Bruno in blue-gray, 2 Brunos as custom orders (Monsterchen and black-gray), and 1 x the Geometry suit in black-gray-mint (with the same belly solution as the Bruno). The cut fits well, and my Willi is always dressed warmly. In the video, you can see that Willi moves completely freely and naturally in the Bruno, and really EVERYTHING that a dog needs to do works perfectly. Now we are very excited about the new promised rain suit for male dogs. Since we like to go to the beach more often in the off-season, we still need a waterproof 'full-body suit' so that Willi can also go to the beach on bad weather days. Which bag size is best for my dog? In each of our bags, you will find a precise indication of the weight for which the respective size is suitable. However, please note: It's not just about weight, but always also about your dog's build. For example, if your dog has a very long back, particularly long legs, or a strong chest, we recommend a larger size—even if the weight would theoretically fit into the smaller bag. What measurements are important? Bottom length, bottom width, bag height. All specified measurements are external dimensions of the bag. Our tip for better assessment: Take a measuring tape and measure the indicated bottom length and bottom width on a table or on the floor. Place your dog next to it—this way, you will get a realistic sense of the space. Then pull the measuring tape vertically upwards so you can better assess the bag height. This way, you can judge much more accurately which size is best suited for your dog. Are there winter and summer bags? What is the difference?
Yes, there are winter and summer bags. Both variants are well thought out and made of high quality, but they differ mainly in material, warmth, and weather resistance. The winter variant: padded made of water- and wind-resistant Oxford fabric warmer and overall more stable The summer variant: lighter and airier often made of breathable mesh fabric ideal for warm days with an insert flexible to use even in cooler temperatures Which bag is best suited for your dog depends on: How sensitive to cold is your dog? Are you often out in the rain or wind? Do you want it to be particularly light or particularly warm? Dog clothing: Custom & tailored – what is the difference?
The difference is important – because it concerns two completely different types of custom production.
Custom production means:
Your dog wears a standard size from our size chart, for example from size chart 1 or size chart 2, but you want changes to the model.
For example:
- without lining
- with a different fabric
- with integrated harness
- with extra hood
- with additional details
The pattern remains the same – however, the model will be adjusted according to your wishes.
In terms of pricing, this means: Price of the coat in the shop + approx. 40 € including VAT plus shipping. Extras like hood or harness are calculated individually.
How does custom production work?
- Please contact me first – fastest via WhatsApp.
- I need back length and chest circumference.
- I will show you suitable models from the shop.
- You order the model for fitting.
- You try it on at home and show me photos.
- Afterwards, you send the coat back (the return shipping is the customer's responsibility).
- Upon receipt, you will receive the difference invoice.
- After payment, I will plan your production.
The production time is approximately 6–12 weeks, depending on workload.
Tailor-made means:
We change or develop the pattern individually for your dog.
This means:

The suit fits perfectly – but the legs are too long: What should I do?
In this case, the legs can be easily shortened privately by a local tailor. You can show exactly how short the legs should be – just as you wish. Please note: Our leg lengths are standard lengths. However, some dogs have particularly short legs. It is important that the body, chest, and back fit perfectly. This is the best foundation for a really good fit. The leg length can be easily shortened later at any time.

Which model should I choose?
Every dog has different needs and a very individual sensitivity to cold. Therefore, there is not one model that is equally suitable for all dogs.
In general, a suit with legs naturally offers more protection than a vest. However, which solution is sensible for your dog always depends on anatomy, coat, daily life, and sensitivity to cold.
