Born out of necessity and carried on with enthusiasm...

We are very happy for our customers when we hear that they have finally found the right thing with our dog clothes.

Our shop “Handmade Dog Clothes” was actually born out of necessity.

Like many of our customers today, three years ago we couldn't find a coat that really fit our little Lucy.
Despite the snow and cold in the winter of 2016/2017, she couldn't be stopped and frolicked around outside. The rude awakening came the next day. She had a really bad cold, a fever and difficulty breathing.

I don't know about you - for us it is almost unbearable and heartbreaking when such a poor little dog suffers. We were really worried about her. The vet gave her antibiotics and we had to give her medication and nasal drops for two weeks until she finally got better.

Back then, we swore to ourselves that we had to protect her properly in the cold, snow and rain - and since there was nothing suitable to buy, after a long search we found a specialized seamstress (who is now our business partner) who made the first suit that fit exactly made for Lucy.

We were thrilled and along with Lucy's walks in her new wardrobe came numerous admirers who couldn't get enough of the chic and functionally dressed mouse. It was clear that we had to offer this to other owners too.

And so Lucy&Fly was born out of necessity – handmade clothing for small dogs.

Today we are passionate about developing new and better models and are happy about the great feedback from our customers.
By the way, Fly is our second dog, a Rhodesian Ridgeback male - twenty times heavier and bigger than Lucy and a true Buddha among dogs. Fly is calm herself, while Lucy is quite lively... no wonder that she is more of a "mistress dog" and takes after Nataly in personality - Fly, on the other hand, is a "master dog" and is similar in nature to Hajo - calm, concentrated and hardly distracted from his goal to distract (which is usually something edible ;))

Lucy & Fly is a creation of Nataly and Hajo - and we are very happy to be of great joy and help to you and your furry friend with our dog vests and suits, no matter whether it is storming, snowing or raining.
